But you are right, if VT lost you would see a thread 8-10 pages of how VT sucks from fans from every school under the sun. The BC/VT thread was 98% of how terrible VT is.

Just got back from the game. Comments? Just that we were able to make plays on VT's D, but our D didn't show up at all which has been a major concern for the past few weeks, and is a major contributor to our down year. We're thin at DT which allowed the running game to flourish w/Ore & Co., and mark this down--Campbell and Moncur won't sniff the NFL if they don't learn not to bite on the read option fake and keep containment up the field and filter things up the middle instead of trying to chase a guy like T. Taylor to the boundary.

Enjoy it while you can guys--today was your senior day, I noticed VT's losing a lot of key cogs, especially LB's and WR's. Also, take a gander at what's hindering Miami--pass coverage, DT depth, and consistent LB & QB play. All of those things have been addressed in the current freshmen class and the current recruiting class (if they all stick). Patience my friends...this won't become a common occurance. Celebrate now b/c I promise, you will be hanging your heads way low after matchups against us in the future.

we'll be fine at both WR and LB...return 3/4 of the secondary and some great DL...and all but one offensive linemen...plus one of our best recruiting classes ever

congratulations to VT, I cant really say too much. Its not like I can say a whole lot given the Canes dont provide much competition to anyone these days. Clearly the better team won, at home, and should have. Thanks for covering the spread too lol.

I enjoyed our senior day more. 21 out, 33 in. If we are going to lose, gotta lose with SFL talent instead of bringing in that 5 star from North Dakota, while whiffing on 4 others against USC and settling for plan C in our own backyard lol.

That's fine about the secondary but look at the WR's & LB's you're losing:

WR - Morgan, Hyman, Harper, Royal
LB - Adibi, Hall

All 6 of those guys probably played 95% or more of the total snaps for you guys last night and have all year long at their positions. You guys are gonna be relying hard on that secondary & DL coming back, as well as staying heavy run between Ore, both Lewises, and Cheeseman.

I mean, they may be good and being coached up--but I'm not scared of any other LB or WR you guys have on your roster. Dillard's probably the top WR coming back, and Warren's probably the top LB--that's not really that fearsome. And I'm also not scared of LB/WR you guys have coming in in this recruiting class that's "one of VT's best ever". Just looking at VT's current commitment list, there's really and honestly only two guys I'd want over any guys we may be getting, and that'd be DJ Coles or Jeron Gouveia, and I'd want Gouveia just for the bloodlines that he brings, and for the potential to be as good as his dad.

You wanna talk about "one of the best recruiting classes ever" for a school--go take a gander at the one we're putting together so far this year, then get back to me.
